Sarah Parker

About me & my approach to change & repair.

I live in a small city on the side of a mountain in Tasmania. I watch the skies and listen to the birds.

I’m an artist by trade, using colour, composition, metaphor, and space to tell stories and evoke emotions.

My work ethic and passion for life are simultaneously grounded in my other key professional focus, talk therapy and the science of repair and connection.

My post-graduate training in Counselling has given me a unique perspective on how to navigate the world and understand others.

“I am grateful to have these two worlds to draw meaning from.”

“I am grateful to have these two worlds to draw meaning from.”

I value the individuality and sensitivity of each person. We are all similar in many ways but have unique thoughts and perspectives.

Everyone has the right to feel safe, receive support, and learn skills to improve their confidence, sense of selfhood, and pride in who they are, regardless of their gender, culture, income, or age.

“Each client is an important part of my day. My ‘seeing and being with’ work fosters safety, repair, and belonging.”

In support

From time to time, my therapy clients share their thoughts with me about our work together. I thought you might enjoy reading some of the supportive and grateful messages I’ve received.
